Stefan Olsdal, Placebo Photo - London. UK. Stefan Olsdal of alternative rock band Placebo performs a live intimate show at The Coronet in Elephant and Castle. Due to their London Coronet show on 7th March selling out within five minutes last Friday, the band accommodated a second show to avoid disappointing their fans. Furthermore, ticket touts who were selling Placebo tickets on eBay for large sums of money, may have been disappointed to discover the extra show because they will have no choice but to curb their prices, something which was deliberately set-up by Placebo. These two Placebo shows will be the last performances in the UK this year. With "Meds" being their last album on Placebo's contract with Virgin Records, speculation that a B-Side album is to be released, this is all dependant on whether they renew their contract with Virgin or sign up to another label for their next album which is to be released in 2 to 3 years. 6th March 2007.
