Supremes, The Supremes, The Maine Photo - Commissioned for Stuart Hughes of Liverpool, UK by an anonymous Malaysian businessman, the History Supreme is the world's most unique yacht, and at $4.84 billion, likely the most expensive. The 100-foot yacht took three years to complete and incorporates nearly 100,000 kilograms of solid gold and platinum. All features including the decks, dining area, rails and anchor are made from the precious metals and the entire vessel is wrapped in gold, a thin layer specially formed to embrace the huge section of the ship. The main sleeping quarter is adorned with platinum accents including a wall feature made from meteoric stone with genuine dinosaur bone shaved in from a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Miami, FL. 7/19/11.
