Danes and Crudup took a stroll through SoHo to Olive's Cafe on Prince Street where Billy ordered a sandwich and Claire ordered a fruit salad before they headed off to Battery Park. While walking to Battery Park, the happy couple were seen to hold hands and were very passionate. Danes and Crudup visited several furniture stores where they checked out king size beds. It was a perfect timing when they arrived to Battery Park. The sun was in zenith shadowed by light clouds which was exactly what Billy needed in order to not burn his milky skin. Claire and Billy laid on a lawn by Hudson River for about four hours totally unrecognized. They just could not have had anough of each other. While Billy tried to read a book, Claire appeared to be such a disruption. Danes was all over Billy all the time passionately hugging and kissing him. Danes and Crudup fell for each other on the set of their movie 'Stage Beauty' in late 2003. At the time, Danes parted from her hard-boozing rocker boyfriend Ben Lee, and Crudup left his girlfriend of seven years, Mary-Louise Parker, who was pregnant with his child. New York, May 16, 2004.
