Surgeons told Gotti that her heart had been damaged by her pacemaker, which went out of order last November as the result of interferance from an electronic exercise machine Gotti wore to tighten her abdominal muscles. Gotti's spokesman said that Gotti is in considerable pain and that the prognosis is good. Victoria Gotti needs the pacemaker because she suffers from a heart condition known as mitral velve prolapse.
